What we do
The point is not to compete: it is to gain confidence, learn to fall better, read the transition and enjoy the process. And if you do it as a family, alongside your kids, that process is worth more than any trick.
Skating under cover changes things. Vitoria gets rain, wind and darkness at six in winter; a covered skatepark is the difference between skating three months a year and skating twelve. The bowl, the street area and the ramps are all indoors, so the session does not depend on the forecast.
It will sharpen your coordination and make you progress faster in every other board sport. Balance, reading a transition and handling fear transfer straight across to surfing and snowboarding: it is the same body learning the same thing on a different surface.
We also run camps and clinics for children and adults, with gear and progressions adapted to each level. We aim to have a good time and to pass on a few values along the way: wait your turn, help the person starting out, put away what you took out and look after a place that belongs to everyone.
And there is a part that does not show in the photos: the people. You come to skate and end up staying for what happens afterwards. Half the association’s calendar starts in those conversations.
