What we do
We organise trips to nearby spots — the Basque Country, Cantabria, France — whenever conditions are worth it. Forecast, gear, cars and reading of the sea all get shared.
Surfing does not start on the beach: it is built with mobility, strength, surfskate and conversation. In the water we look for safety, judgement and a lot of hours of real learning.
Learning to read a forecast is half the sport and almost nobody teaches it. Swell, period, direction, wind, tide coefficient: five numbers that decide whether a spot works or whether you are about to spend two hours paddling for nothing. Here it gets said out loud and argued over, which is how it sinks in.
Trips are open to members of different levels, matching the destination and the group to whoever signs up. Most of the time they start from the members themselves, who use the community to get together and head for the sea.
Between trips there is the warehouse: surfskate for pumping and turning, the training room for strength and paddling, mobility work for shoulders and hips. Living inland forces you to train what people on the coast train by surfing.
